ASE's John Cranko School November Workshop offers an exclusive opportunity to train for one week at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany for dancers ages 15-18 years who are recognized during their participation in the JCSSI CT and NY.
Selected dancers will take part in blended classes with year-round JCS students and separate oned for ASE's group. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience life in Stuttgart, Germany while staying in a local youth hostel and going on cultural excursions around the city. This is a paid, by invitation only opportunity.
Dancers exhibiting exceptional talent may be recommended for year-round study at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany.
One Week

ASE is pleased to provide an exclusive opportunity to train for one week at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany! Classes will be held blended with year-round JCS students and separately for ASE's group, in addition to cultural outings in Stuttgart. The group will be comprised of about 16-20 dancers, and 3-4 chaperones/staff. This is a paid, by invitation only opportunity.

The JCS November Workshop is designed for male and female dancers (15 - 22 years) who are at an intermediate through advanced level who would like to further their development of technique and skill at the John Cranko School this fall, combined with experiencing life in Stuttgart, Germany. Training is conducted through group classes which consist of individual participation, observation, interactive participation with other participants, and hands-on corrections and demonstrations. Classes will be held blended with year-round JCS students and separately for ASE's group, in addition to cultural outings in Stuttgart. Dancers are expected to moderate the rigor of their training within the context of instruction, which is aimed at assisting participants to achieve individual progress.

Ballet classes are conducted in English, in groups, and organized by age and skill levels.

Level placement may be adjusted during the first few days at the exclusive discretion of the Program.

At the completion of the program, participants receive an assessment from the Teachers.

Dancers exhibiting exceptional talent may be recommended for year-round study at the John Cranko School.
Curriculum
Schedule:
Classes take place from Monday - Saturday with a typical 9AM - 5PM schedule most days.
Time after classes may be unstructured, and unsupervised.
